KenWeal® was established by Kenneth Michael Weal "King of Lupus"

Kenneth was born as Kenneth Michael Weal on February 23, 1990 in South Bronx, New York. In the year of 2006 on September 11, at the age of 16 he was diagnosed with a sickness called (S.L.E Lupus) Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, class V Lupus Glomerulonephritis with 'Kidney Disease' Nephritic Syndrome. Alot of people don't live long with this sickness; like Kenneth's great grandmother, who lived only a couple of month before she passed away. (Kenneth was born on his great grandmother birthday.) He still has this sickness today. Systemic Lupus affected both of his kidneys, which almost killed him.

In the year of 2006 Kenneth was in the hospital alot. He went through alot of surgeries; the first surgery he had was on his kidneys. The results came back and that's how he found out that he had Systemic Lupus. This sickness is rarely found in males and not known very well; but It's a very dangerous sickness. These are some of the side effects, that Kenneth had to deal with and which is still dealing with: Hair lost, swelling of the body, back pain, headaches, low stamina, muscle pain, can't stand/walk for a long period of time, depression, and etc. Kenneth is in pain everyday of his life, but he thanks God for giving him the strength to deal with the pain.

Every since Kenneth Weal was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus It change his life around in a great way and that's the only good thing that came from this sickness. In the month of January 2007, Kenneth was released from the hospital. (He spent a 1 week in October in the hospital, 3 days in November in the hospital and than in December he spent 3 weeks; missing family birthday parties, Christmas eve and even Christmas. The day he got home from the hospital, he was just sitting in his bedroom, thinking about his life and how God has blessed him to make it out of the hospital; because he had a 70 percent chance of dying in there.

When Kenneth was home doing nothing with his life, he decided to get back into designing products for his future business; he always wanted to do, since he was a young kid. Kenneth got so deep into his work, that he wanted his business to become worldwide. The day when he was gonna take that next step in his business, he had found out that a small business in another country had the business name he was gonna use. After founding out that the company name he wanted to use was already taken, he didn't know what to do anymore; his dreams of becoming a business man was gone, until his mother told him to use his name......... he thought about it and that's when he broke his name up to develop a business called KENWEAL.

KenWeal is a business company, that designs for both Male and Female: Urban wear, T-shirts, Jeans, Shorts, Outer Wear, Jackets, Sweaters, Coats, Casual Wear, Accessories, Hats, Backpacks, Bras, Thongs, Handbags, Swim Wear, Infant Clothing, Foot Wear, Socks, Notebooks, Video Games and MUCH MORE. (Kenneth Weal started his clothing business, just from making T-shirts at first.)

He just had a name, but he wanted a logo to represent his life and his business. Kenneth came up with two ideas on using a eagle and a crown. (The eagle is the type of animal that will overcome many obstacles in their lives and able to see their prey before they attack. In Kenneth's eye's he can overcome many obstacles in his life and he can see himself accomplishing his goals before he actually accomplish them. The letters KW on the crown represents his initials. The crown on the eagles head represents that, Kenneth is the King of Lupus; because of what he has been/still going through with lupus. Kenneth Michael Weal, takes himself as being special, Incredible, a role model, real blessed by God and God gifted; wouldn't you think so! He thanks God for blessing him with Systemic Lupus because if he never would have been diagnosed with it, he wouldn't be who he is today.
